AR Denarius, 3.81g. 18.5mm. Uncertain Spanish mint, c.17-16 B.C. Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS. Capricorn to right holding globe and rudder. RIC 126. BMC 346. Magnificent portrait of fine style in high relief and with a wonderfully detailed reverse; attractive light toning.
