Ancient Coins: ROMAN IMPERIAL SILVER: Julia Paula, wife of Elagabalus, 219-220 A.D.

AR Denarius, 2.63g. 18mm.  IVLIA PAVLA AVG.  Draped bust of Julia to right with elaborately waved hair in rows and fastened into a braid in back.   Rev.  CONCORDIA AVGG.  Concordia seated to left holding double cornucopia and patera.  RIC IV, pt 2,  216.  Attractive toning and unusually fine metal quality for this issue.
