AR Denarius, 3.92g. 19mm. SABIN. Head of King Tatius to right; monogram in front. Rev. L TITVURI in exergue. The Rape of the Sabines: two Roman soldiers abducting Sabine women; CR 344/1a. Sydenham 698. Lovely old toning with amber and purple highlights; superb obverse style and struck in high relief.
