AR Stater, 7.86g. 19mm. c.330-290 B.C. Head of Demeter to left wearing wreath of grain. Rev. Barley ear; griffin in field to left. Johnston C 6. SNG ANS 489. The head of Demeter is executed by a master engraver with delicate facial details and struck in high relief. Attractive toning.
