Rome, c.65 A.D.   NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP PP.   Laureate head of Nero to right wearing aegis.  Rev.   PACE P R TERRA MARIQ PARTA IANVM CLVSIT S C.  The Temple of Janus with closed doors indicating peace.   RIC 266.  BMC 161. small die break on rev.     Fine Roman style portrait and olive green patina with some dark encrustation.
