Kings of Pergamon, Eumenes I, 263-241 B.C.

AR Tetradrachm, 16.92g. 31 mm.  Diademed head of Philetairos to right  Rv. Athena seated to left holding wreath and spear; bow in field to right; ivy leaf and A in field to left.   Westermark V. LIII/R I. SNG France 1610.  This is the finest and most dramatic of the Philetairos portrait styles.   Toned, struck in very high relief, and with exceptional surfaces for this normally heavily marred type.

AE 11, 1.81g.  4th century B.C.  Head of Dionysos to left wearing ivy wreath with clump of berries at end.   Rev.  Kantharos, bunch of grapes above.  SNG COP 709.  Reddish-brown patina and fine style.
